Scholarly Pursuits
Law school has been such an interesting journey so far. I really don’t know what to think, besides “has it really only been a week?”. Maybe it’s the summer research and muddling through piles of negative articles outlining my demise as a jobless, debt heavy law student. Maybe it’s the prep books. Maybe it’s the fact that none of us really know what the heck we are doing right now because of all the information thrown at us.
One thing is for sure, the atmosphere is great. Everyone I meet is transparent, awesome, and willing to just go with the flow. Everyone is also incredibly intelligent.
So that’s why when I found myself, on the offhand break on the weekend, DRAWING CAKE, I had to question my life choices.
So idrabear (idrabear.tumblr.com) was talking about cake and relationships with me (e.g. cupcakes are children, rainbow cake symbolizes certain things). I was driving home, and it was confirmed that law school left no room for rational thought in my head, as I decided I would start outlining “The Guide To Relationships As Described By Cake (no, this is not a lie)”.
The cakes are supposed to have smiley faces. Yes, clearly, I am an illustrating GENIUS, and a mighty good theorist.
This coffee cake accidentally turned into a Rorschach test. If you can see the creepy smug face on it, I regret to inform you that you are clinically insane. And yes, I am aware coffee cake does not CONTAIN coffee.
The fruitcake looks gross on purpose, I swear.

Once upon a time, I saw a picture of headless businessmen on my sister Fassyhiddles ’ facebook.
So I decided to make that a team of meme faces. Then I realized… one of the meme faces out there looks EXACTLY like her. The girl saying “…” is an EXACT REPLICA OF MY SISTER. She’s FAMOUS.
It’s just surprising how the world knows about her.
